We Are Here To Lend A Helping Hand

Native Connections is a community based suicide prevention program at Nevada Urban Indians brought to us by the generous funding of SAMHSA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration) which “leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States”. Native Connections is working to create a suicide free community by empowering American Indian and Alaskan Native, Veterans and Youth under 24 through prevention, education, and community engagement opportunities. Nevada Urban Indians works with all underserved community members.

We believe the Suicide is preventable and that by working collaboratively together we can make a difference in Northern Nevada. If you are in need of immediate Suicide/Crisis intervention, please call 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline
