Volunteer Services

Nevada Urban Indians, Inc. (NUI) welcomes assistance from volunteers interested in performing needed services for our clients. A volunteer is defined as an individual who willingly performs client services without compensation (i.e. interns, community service volunteers, VISTA workers, etc.) Volunteers are recognized as being in an employment relationship, complying with program policies and direction of the program manager or designated supervisor. Volunteer services can be discontinued without prior notification.

Volunteers are always apprecitated at NUI.  We offer a variety of different volunteer opportunities to anyone who is interested in helping and assisting others.  Volunteers will need to complete the Volunteer Application, submit to a criminal backround and reference check, complete a volunteer orientation, and drug screen (depending on program assignment).

If you are interested in volunteering at NUI or would like to learn about volunteer opportunities, please contact Nevada Urban Indians at (775) 788-7600 for more information.
